The Saudi search market

Why is reputation harder to manage in Saudi Arabia than the buyer expects?

Because the checking happens in Arabic, on a thinner set of sources, and against a register anyone can look up.

20

Saudi searches a month for online reputation management. Nobody shops for this service by name here. They search your name instead, and that is the page this work is about.

The model

Three jobs, and most agencies only sell you the third one

Reputation work fails when it is treated as an emergency service. We run it as three continuous programmes, because building the results you want, holding the ground you already have and cleaning up what is there now are different jobs on different timelines.

The part most of this market has not started measuring

What does ChatGPT say when a buyer asks about your company?

When a procurement lead in Abu Dhabi asks an assistant whether your company is worth shortlisting, the reply is assembled from sources you have probably never audited. It does not show in Search Console, it does not show in your rank tracker, and for a growing share of buyers it is the first opinion they form about you.nnWe already run this for clients in the Emirates. One femtech client now has 100 pages cited by AI assistants, supported by 252 referring domains, measured in Semrush on 12 July 2026.

Which SEO agencies in Saudi Arabia are worth shortlisting?

Based on available sources, several Dubai agencies come up repeatedly, though coverage of regional specialists is thin and many of the lists are paid placements rather than independent review.

How the work runs

Five stages, and the first one costs you nothing but an NDA

Each of the 5 stages ends in something you can hold: a document, a shipped change, a live dashboard you can open.

  1. Step 1 of 5

    Audit

We map every commercial query in your category across the Saudi SERP, in English and Arabic, alongside what the 4 assistants currently answer when someone asks about you.

A query and gap document Week 1
  2. Step 2 of 5

    Priorities

We tell you which of your queries are worth money, which are noise, and which you can realistically move inside 12 months, ranked with the reasoning shown rather than asserted.

A ranked opportunity list Week 2
  3. Step 3 of 5

    Plan

You get the mix of technical, content, reputation and AI-visibility work for your situation, with owners, sequencing and the measures we will report against.

A scope you sign Week 3
  4. Step 4 of 5

    Build

Templates fixed, content shipped, profiles governed, sources corrected. Weekly working sessions rather than a monthly update deck.

Shipped work, every week Month 2 onward
  5. Step 5 of 5

    Defend

Positions do not stay won on their own, so we track share of voice, AI answer share and lead quality in your portal and keep defending the ground you have taken against the competitors who want it back.

Why reputation is a harder problem here than anywhere else in the region

Nothing was removed from the search results. The same ten places existed before and after, the client simply took more of them, and took the ones that answer the buying question.

Engagement model

How a Saudi engagement is scoped

We scope to your situation rather than to a package, because 2 companies of the same size in Dubai can have entirely different search problems. What we can be transparent about is the shape of the work and the 4 variables that decide it.

Everyone starts with the audit, then continues as a programme or a project.

Start here

Audit

A fixed-scope diagnostic. You keep the document whether or not you continue with us.

  • Full query map, both languages
  • Technical crawl and index health
  • Competitor SERP and share of voice
  • AI answer snapshot across four assistants
  • Prioritised plan with effort and impact

One-off, two weeks

Most common

Ongoing programme

A monthly engagement running technical, content, AI visibility and reputation work against one backlog.

  • Everything in the audit, refreshed continuously
  • Content and template production
  • Entity, schema and source correction
  • Review and profile governance
  • Weekly sessions and a live dashboard

Continuous, reviewed each quarter

Project work

A defined piece of work with a start and an end, for teams that already have an in-house search function.

  • Migration planning and post-launch recovery
  • One-off technical remediation
  • Entity and schema build
  • AI visibility baseline and correction sprint
  • Training for your internal team

Fixed scope, fixed timeline

What decides the shape of the work

Competition

Defended positions between you and the queries that carry your budget.

Surface

One brand and one service line, or a group with sub-brands, languages and Maps.

Starting assets

Whether you own pages worth ranking, or we build them first.

Languages

English only, or a full Arabic programme running alongside it.

We scope after the audit rather than before it, because the audit is what tells us what the work actually is.

Boundaries

Four things we will not do, whatever the brief says

Worth knowing before the first call. Each of these has cost a business more than the work was ever worth.

Svg
01
We will not Guarantee rankings

Nobody controls Google. We commit to the work, the reporting and the reasoning behind every decision, and you judge whether it earned its place each month.

02
We will not Buy or write reviews

It breaches every platform policy and, in many markets, sits inside consumer protection law. It is also detectable, and detection becomes public.

03
We will not Build shell site networks

Private blog networks get deindexed together, and the client is the one left holding the penalty.

04
We will not Attack a competitor

We decline these briefs.

05
We always will Tell you not to hire us

When the work will not pay for itself, we say so on the first call — before an invoice exists.

Objections we hear from Saudi buyers

The questions that decide whether this is worth a call

Everyone tells us we need Arabic content. Do we?
Yes, and first. Arabic carries about 39% of head-term demand in Saudi Arabia against roughly 1% in the UAE, so the Gulf-wide answer is wrong here. On some categories the gap is far wider: شركات التسويق الالكتروني draws 3,600 searches a month while its English twin draws 20. We map your own split per category first, then build the Arabic side properly rather than translating the English one.
You are not based in Riyadh. Why would we hire you?
Because you meet the people doing the work. Our delivery team sits in Cairo, and we work with partners already based in the Gulf who are listed on this site. When you need someone in the room in the Emirates, that is who goes. What this avoids is the familiar arrangement where a local sales office wins the account and the work is quietly subcontracted to a team the client never speaks to.
Our last agency reported great rankings and we saw no revenue.
Usually the wrong language. Ranking reports in Saudi Arabia are often English-only while roughly 39% of head-term demand is typed in Arabic, and on some categories the Arabic side is far larger: شركات التسويق الالكتروني draws 3,600 searches a month against 20 for its English twin. Ranking first on a term nobody types is a real ranking and a useless one.
How long before we see something?
Three months to the first movement. Al Hokail Medical Group reached 30 keywords at number one on Google Saudi Arabia and 3,400 ranked keywords over the engagement, with 27,500 monthly organic visits. Arabic head terms here usually move sooner than English ones, because fewer people are contesting them. Technical and content fixes land inside the first three months.
We need a number before we can take this internally.
$700 to $2,500 a month. That is the band most VOCTOS engagements sit in, and Saudi Arabia lands mid-band because it is cheaper to compete in than the UAE: $2.81 a click against $14.01 in Dubai. We scope after a free audit so the number reflects your query set. Anything below the band, we will tell you it is not worth starting.
Can you guarantee rankings?
No, and neither can anyone else. Nobody controls Google. What we commit to is the work, the reporting and the reasoning, so you can judge each month whether the programme deserves the next one. An agency that guarantees a position is either buying it with ads or planning to rank you for a term nobody searches.
Is AI search worth budget yet, or is it hype?
It is measurable, so it is not hype. Delta Medical Labs is cited on 5,570 pages across AI engines: 3,600 in AI Overviews, 1,800 in AI Mode, 130 in ChatGPT, 40 in Gemini. In Semrush AI Visibility, July 2026, Delta scored 18 against 14 for Al Borg Diagnostics and 0 for Alfa Lab. Only the Saudi Ministry of Health scored higher, at 22.
We had a bad experience with an agency and lost rankings.
Tell us what they built before we touch anything. Your recovery starts with an inventory of what the previous team shipped, because the damage sits in links, thin pages or a migration that dropped redirects. We map it, tell you what is salvageable, and say plainly when the honest answer is that a section of your site needs rebuilding rather than repair.
