In the UAE they run from 1,500 to 4,500 AED. At the top end, local agencies publish tiers that reach 44,500 EGP, 6,500 SAR and 15,000 AED a month.

Every figure here comes from public pages we read on 26 and 27 October 2026: price tables on 15 agencies’ own sites, 17 agency price guides dated 2026, three Clutch directory pages and three freelancer marketplaces. Treat it as a sample of what agencies publish, since we did not run a survey.

To keep the comparison fair, we converted everything at one rate. On 27 October 2026, 1 US dollar bought 56.27 Egyptian pounds, 3.75 Saudi riyals and 3.6725 UAE dirhams (ExchangeRate-API).

How we collected these prices

We opened every pricing page ourselves, without signing in, and wrote each price down exactly as shown: the currency, whether it is monthly or one-off, and what it includes. When an agency publishes its own price table, we count it as a published package. When an agency writes a guide about “the market”, we count it as an estimate, because the author sells the very service it is pricing.

Before you read any number, keep two caveats in mind. The first is that the agencies willing to publish prices are mostly small ones. SEO Sherpa, with offices in Dubai and Riyadh, shows no package prices on its pricing page and asks you to request a proposal instead, which leaves the largest firms under-represented in what we found.

The second caveat matters if you pay in pounds. The riyal and the dirham are pegged to the dollar. The pound is not. The Central Bank of Egypt’s average selling rate was 55.38 pounds in the session before 24 October 2026, as Al Dostor reported, while the rate we use, from 27 October, is 56.27.

How much does SEO cost in Egypt?

If you are buying in Egypt, five local agencies publish monthly SEO packages priced from 4,000 to 44,500 EGP, about $71 to $791 at our 27 October rate. Most entry packages sit between 7,500 and 14,500 EGP. One Dubai-based agency that sells into Egypt starts at 75,949 EGP, which is really dollar pricing written in pounds.

Egessia: 14,500, 24,500 and 44,500 EGP a month for 30, 80 and 150+ keywords, with 2, 4 and 8 pieces of content a month. The agency puts these at roughly $1,499, $2,999 and from $6,999.

If you want a number for every tier, one guide gives it. KF Agency (May 2026) puts freelancers at 2,000 to 4,500 EGP, small agencies at 4,500 to 11,000 and full-service agencies at 11,000 to 35,000+. It says the last column comes from its own contracts.

How much does SEO cost in Saudi Arabia?

In Saudi Arabia, four agencies publish monthly SEO packages, from 750 to 6,500 SAR (about $200 to $1,733), and their entry tiers sit between 750 and 1,499 SAR. The ten price guides dated 2026 describe a wider market than that. In those guides, a small business’s retainer runs about 1,500 to 5,000 SAR, while large companies budget 15,000 SAR or more.

Daaoob: 750, 2,000 and 4,000 SAR a month on the package cards, though the comparison table on the same page shows 1,950 and 3,950 SAR for the upper two. The top tier adds local SEO and GEO (updated 25 October 2026).

Al Master, Riyadh: 999, 2,900 and 4,900 SAR a month, shown as discounts from 1,200, 3,900 and 7,600.

SEO Smarter: 1,499, 2,999 and 5,999 SAR a month (updated February 2026).

TrustTry, Jeddah page: 800, 2,500 and 6,500 SAR a month for SEO and content.

The guides roughly agree on how the Saudi market is shaped. The numbers are another matter. SEO Sherpa’s Riyadh page (June 2026) puts basic retainers at 1,800 to 3,000 SAR on average, hourly rates at 200 to 500 SAR and one-off projects at 1,100 to 5,600 SAR.

Digital Wasfa (October 2026) sits higher. It puts retainers at 3,000 to 15,000 SAR and says anything under 2,000 SAR is rarely worth paying for.

How much does SEO cost in the UAE?

In the UAE, five agencies publish packages, from 199 to 15,000 AED a month (about $54 to $4,084). Set aside the one outlier at 199 AED and your entry options run from 1,500 to 4,500 AED, with top tiers at 6,500 to 15,000 AED. Two of the five will also tie you to a minimum contract.

Digital Gravity: 2,000, 4,000, 10,000 and 12,000 AED a month, on 4 to 6 month contracts, for 15 to 100 keywords (updated 21 October 2026).

Global Media Insight: 4,500, 6,000, 9,000 and 15,000 AED a month on 3 to 6 month contracts. The agency itself calls these “indicative” (April 2026).

Sweetreed: 3,500, 6,000 and 10,000 AED a month, rolling month to month, and every tier includes an AI visibility report.

Ali SEO Services: 1,500, 3,500 and 6,500 AED a month, month to month (updated 24 October 2026).

Samco: 199, 499 and 999 AED a month (July 2026).

Price my site’s first six months

How do these prices compare with the global benchmark?

The best public benchmark is Ahrefs’ poll of 439 SEO providers, last updated 15 August 2024. It found an average of $2,917 a month, split into $3,209 for agencies and $1,348 for freelancers. Put our sample next to it and the gap is wide. The most expensive package from an Egypt-based agency is about a quarter of that agency average. The top UAE package sits above it.

Ahrefs’ data is global and two years old, so use it as a reference point when you talk to local agencies, and don’t expect their prices to match it. The same poll found an average hourly rate of $111, and an average of $1,557 a month for local SEO.

In your own currency, that $3,209 agency average comes to 180,570 EGP, 12,034 SAR or 11,785 AED.

Clutch’s directory gives you a second view, although each firm reports its own rate there. On Clutch’s Egypt SEO page (ratings updated 27 October 2026), 29 of the 41 listings that show an hourly band charge under $50 an hour. For Saudi Arabia, Clutch’s Saudi page (26 October) puts the count at 24 of 41.

The UAE data is thinner. On Clutch’s UAE page, only six listings show a rate, and three of them sit at $100 to $149.

What does each tier typically cost?

The table uses only the evidence above. Published packages come first, and agency guides fill in where no package exists. If we found nothing for a tier in a market, the cell tells you so. All ranges are monthly, dollar figures use the 27 October 2026 rate, and the sample behind it is 15 price tables and 17 guides.

Tier

Egypt

Saudi Arabia

UAE

Freelancer

2,000 to 4,500 EGP ($36 to $80). 1 agency estimate.

1,000 to 2,000 SAR for Salla stores; 2,000 to 5,000 SAR general ($267 to $1,333). 2 agency estimates.

No UAE-specific figure found.

Small agency, entry tier

7,500 to 14,500 EGP ($133 to $258). 4 agencies’ published packages, plus one at 4,000 EGP.

750 to 1,499 SAR ($200 to $400). 4 agencies’ published packages.

1,500 to 4,500 AED ($408 to $1,225). 4 agencies’ published packages, plus one at 199 AED.

Established agency, top tier

10,000 to 44,500 EGP ($178 to $791). On Fiverr, the SEO category showed eight best-selling listings, and seven of them were link building or guest posts at $5 to $100.

In our data, prices vary more inside each market than between markets, so the tier you buy matters more than whether you buy in Cairo, Riyadh or Dubai.

Which pricing model should you choose?

If the work is ongoing, take a monthly retainer. If you have one defined job, such as an audit or a site migration, pay a fixed project fee. If your own team does the work and only needs advice, pay by the hour. Performance pricing that pays per ranking is the risky option, because a ranking is only a proxy, and an agency can game a proxy.

Retainer. Every price table above uses it, and 78.2% of the providers Ahrefs polled charge this way.

Project. In Egypt, a full one-off audit costs 5,000 to 10,000 EGP (Marketer Mart’s guide, October 2026). In Saudi Arabia, a one-off project costs 1,100 to 5,600 SAR according to SEO Sherpa, or 5,000 to 30,000 SAR according to Digital Wasfa.

Hourly. Saudi guides quote 200 to 500 SAR an hour (SEO Sherpa) and 200 to 600 SAR (Digital Wasfa).

Performance pricing, as Global Media Insight describes it, pays against rankings, traffic or a share of revenue. Paying per ranking goes wrong in three ways. First, the agency is paid for positions, so it chases phrases that are easy to rank for and that nobody buys from. Second, rankings shift with location and from day to day, so your bill depends on who checks, and when.

Third, it rewards shortcuts. The obvious one is buying links, which Google’s spam policies classify as link spam.

A hybrid is a different contract: part of a fixed fee is tied to business metrics you agree upfront, such as qualified leads. VOCTOS offers that kind of hybrid, as stated on our SEO page.

Seven things that move your quote

Your quote moves with seven things: how many of your pages need work, how tough your competitors are, whether you need both Arabic and English, how much technical debt your site carries, how much content you need, how far your market reaches, and whether you add AI search. Every price table we read scales on at least two of them.

Site size. Egessia’s tiers go from 30 to 150+ keywords, and Daaoob’s from 3 to 12 pages.

Competition. Prism’s Dubai guide (August 2026) puts legal, medical and real estate sites at 15,000 to 40,000+ AED, against 3,000 to 8,000 AED for most SMEs.

Arabic plus English. Prism says SEO in the UAE needs both languages. We state that band on our SEO page, and if you run an enterprise or multi-market site, expect a higher number.

We don’t publish fixed tiers. You get our number after a free audit of your site, so it reflects your pages, languages and competition. The downside, and we admit it, is that you can’t compare it at a glance the way you can compare a published grid.

Red flags in a cheap offer

The cheapest offers we found keep showing the same three warning signs: a promise of the first page, a package counted in links, and no reporting you can check. Google’s own hiring guide sums it up in one line: “No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google.” If you see any one of the three, walk away.

Guaranteed first page. An Egyptian agency page dated March 2026 sells a 4,000 EGP monthly package with “guaranteed results” and the “first page”. In month one you should get access set up, a baseline and an audit. In months two and three, the technical fixes and your priority pages go live. Content, links and the first movement in clicks come in months four to six. Prism’s UAE guide (August 2026) puts meaningful gains at 3 to 6 months, or 6 to 9 if you are in real estate or healthcare.

Month 1. Search Console, GA4 and your Business Profile stay in your name, and Google advises giving read access only at the audit stage. You receive a map of your keywords and pages.

Months 2 and 3. Your report should list each fix and rewrite by URL. Expect impressions to move before clicks do.

Months 4 to 6. New content and earned links build on the pages you fixed. The first clicks and enquiries come from less competitive terms.

Egessia recommends at least three months even on its entry tier. Our view: if your contract is shorter than this curve, you are paying for the audit and not much else.

My read: compare exclusions, not monthly fees

I went through all 15 price tables in this sample, and the first line I would compare is the one most of them leave blank: what the package does not include. Only three tell you. Egessia excludes paid links, extra content and development work, while Sweetreed and Ali SEO Services list paid add-ons. The other 12 say nothing.

When a table says nothing, you find the exclusions later, on an invoice. So my advice, as Head of SEO and GEO at VOCTOS, is simple: ask each agency to price the first 90 days on your actual site, and to write the exclusions down.

Two quotes at 8,000 EGP can buy you completely different work. I would take a quote that names its exclusions over a cheaper one that doesn’t, because only the first one can be checked against your invoice.

Questions buyers ask about SEO prices

Every answer below uses only the prices we collected across the three markets on 26 and 27 October 2026. We wrote the questions the way buyers actually say them, as complaints, because that is the moment a pricing decision goes wrong.

“A freelancer quoted me $50 for full SEO. Why do agencies want several times that?”

That $50 buys you a single task, not a month of work. Most entry packages from the agencies we found start at around 7,500 EGP, 750 SAR or 1,500 AED a month, because you are paying for recurring work and regular reporting.

“The agency wants a six-month contract before I see anything.”

You will meet that term in our sample too: Digital Gravity and Global Media Insight set 3 to 6 month minimums. What you should see before month six is the work itself, as a dated list of changes by URL in every report.

“My agency bills in dollars and my revenue is in pounds.”

Then your real price moves every time the exchange rate does. The pound went from 55.38 per dollar (Central Bank of Egypt average selling rate, before 24 October 2026) to 56.27 (ExchangeRate-API, 27 October) within days. Ask for a fixed price in pounds for the whole contract term.

“I pay every month and I don’t know what was done.”

Ask for three things in every report: the pages they changed, your Search Console clicks and impressions against the baseline, and next month’s plan. If the agency can’t produce those, you are paying a retainer for work you have no way to check.

“Now they want extra for ChatGPT and AI Overviews.”

In our sample, AI search work comes inside the packages, mostly the mid and top tiers, so check what you already pay for. Then ask whether your agency reports where your brand is cited in AI answers, and not only where it ranks. Our AI search optimization guide explains what that work involves.

“Is Arabic SEO more expensive than English?”

Running both languages costs more than running one, because Arabic needs its own keyword research and native Arabic writers. Digital Wasfa puts bilingual Saudi campaigns at 9,000 to 15,000+ SAR, against 3,000 SAR for a small start in one city and one language.

So what should you budget?

Forget what SEO costs in Egypt, Saudi Arabia or the UAE on average. What you need to know is what the first six months of work on your own site will cost, and what that price leaves out. The entry tier of a local agency gives you a dividing line: about 7,500 EGP, 750 SAR or 1,500 AED a month.

If your budget is below that line, spend it on foundations that stay yours. Put Search Console, GA4 and your Business Profile in your own name, then buy a one-off technical audit at project prices. After that, rewrite your five most valuable pages in Arabic and English, and don’t buy a link package at all.

If your budget is above it, send the same brief to two or three agencies, meet each one and compare what they exclude. Our list of questions to ask an SEO agency before hiring gives you the script for those meetings.

Send me a scoped quote for my site

{"@context":"https://schema.org","@type":"FAQPage","@id":"https://www.voctos.com/blog/seo-cost-egypt-saudi-uae/#faq","inLanguage":"en","mainEntity":[{"@type":"Question","name":"A freelancer quoted me $50 for full SEO.
