The word does no work, because nobody is bound by it. A number is different: if we tell you the minimum Domain Authority we accept is 30, you can pull the report, check the domains, and hold us to it. That is the entire reason these are on a public page rather than in a proposal.<\/p>\n<p>It also gives you something to measure other proposals against. If a competing quote will not put a threshold in writing, that is worth asking about before you sign.<\/p>\n<h2>What we do to the link profile every month<\/h2>\n<p>Acquiring links is only half of it. Every month we run a spam link analysis across the whole profile, including links nobody at VOCTOS built, and act on what it finds. Sites decay. A domain that was a legitimate publication two years ago can be a link farm today, and the link pointing at you does not change on its own.<\/p>\n<p>Where a link has turned toxic and cannot be removed at source, it goes into a disavow file with a record of why. You are never waiting on a PDF to know where you stand.<\/p>\n<h2>What a tool cannot tell you<\/h2>\n<p>Domain Authority and Domain Rating are third-party estimates, built by Moz and Ahrefs from link graphs. Google does not publish an authority score and does not use theirs. They are useful as a filter and dangerous as a target.<\/p>\n<p>The specific failure they cannot catch: a domain can score well on authority and have almost no organic traffic, because authority is derived from links and links can be manufactured. That is why real audience evidence sits in our criteria alongside the numeric thresholds. A metric can be gamed.
